Size: approx. 2.9” x 3.7”

What you are gonna need: 

Tools:

Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, round punch, pair of harness needles, waxed thread. 

Materials:

For the back piece, frame and front base: 3.5-5 oz, I used 3.5-4 oz Buttero veg. Should be of firm temper. Medium temper might also work quite fine. 

For the quilted inlay: around 1-1.5 oz lambskin, sheepskin or goat skin. Should be thin and elastic for best results.

Padding: a piece of any soft material such as foam or synthetic fiber. 

Closure strap: 5-6 oz.

Hardware:

1 x button stud (or Sam Browne). Replace it with a small snap if you want.
